I’ve always been a bit of a nut for Christmas decorations, especially
the vintage type. Over the past 25+ years many weekends were
spent at flea markets and tag sales collecting various bits and
pieces for my collection. I’m sure I could now put up at least 3 nicely decorated trees and still have a few ornaments left over. In addition
to the Christmas ornaments I’ve always loved the old style window candoliers. These older candoliers are not so easy to find, and usually in pretty bad shape when you do find them. For several
years I tried to purchase a decent “vintage” candolier on that popular "auction Web site" but was consistently outbid. Out of frustration I decided to make my own.
I think you will be very happy with the results.

Each Candolier is individually hand crafted using solid wood for the
base and custom made thick-walled cardboard tubes for the candles,
just as the originals were made. Each candle is fitted with reproduction halos and low watt bulbs to help reduce the melt marks commonly found
on the older halo candoliers. All electrical wiring and light sockets are new. The wood base and candle tubes are hand painted with a nice antique white finish. One feature you will only find on my candoliers
are the small notches at the top of each candle which keep the halo in position, eliminating the need for the unsightly retaining clip. This
feature also helps keep the halos facing forward for optimum lighting effect. These are well made reproductions of the classic candoliers of
the past that will last for many holidays to come.
All of these candoliers are made by me alone so
my current stock is limited, advance orders are
welcome and help me to plan out what I need for
the next holiday season.
